Dallas Entertainment Districts – The Possibilities are Endless for Your Next Group

Dallas is an extraordinary place in its own right. From great restaurants, to world-class art, to great shopping, to activities big and small, this fine city simply has it all! It is also a great choice for your next meeting or event. And why wouldn’t it be?  With 15 entertainment districts to choose from including; Deep Ellum, Southside/Cedars, Farmers Market, Bishop Arts District, and Trinity Groves, just to name a few, this great city boasts an array of exciting options. And what’s even better? More options are being added to its footprint! By offering some of the top attractions in Dallas, you can bet your clients will want to visit some of these fine districts during their next event. That being said, let’s take a look at a few of these fabulous areas, and what they have to offer:

The first is the marvelous area of Deep Ellum. This east side area is the city’s craft beer mecca, a thriving gallery scene, and home to the new (and quite amazing) music venue, Bomb Factory. Sip and shop with your group during a “wine walk,” take a stroll through the art galleries, or indulge in the diverse cuisine. It is also a legendary neighborhood for anyone who loves live music. With its historic beginnings from the dynamic jazz and blues scene, you can take your group to a show, and then to one of the neighborbood’s local restaurants who serve handmade food with love. Within a few blocks you can find the best burgers in Dallas, seafood, BBQ, sushi, and even fine dining.

Next, let’s go to Southside/Cedars – where you will find the new Alamo Drafthouse cinema, Gilley’s, and numerous new restaurants. This area has undergone a true revitalization in its hotel, residence and cultural scene. Also, if your guests want the convenience to downtown and/or the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, this is the spot for you. This neighborhood is also currently slated to complete a number of projects to arrive later this year and into 2017. This includes the renovation of the Ambassador Hotel which will house 500 sq. ft. micro-lofts and be across the street from the newly relocated, (and quite popular), Four Corners Brewery. Galleries, performance spaces, large art studios, and other cultural organizations will also grace the area.

Last, but not least, you have Bishop Arts District. Located in the heart of Oak Cliff, this quaint dining, shopping & entertainment area is one not to be missed. It is home to over 60 independently owned boutiques, restaurants, bars, & galleries making it one of Dallas’s most unique neighborhoods. From evening lectures to museum days to some really fantastic dining outlets, attendees are sure to love it here. The cuisine in this district will tempt your palette, and leave you hungry for more. Try a dine-around at Hattie’s, Tillman’s Roadhouse, or Lockhart Smokehouse – just to name a few!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Each one of them, that is! There is so much to discover here. Groups can tailor a truly awesome event throughout Dallas, and its many neighborhoods. The city’s entertainment districts have everything you need to make your next program a truly unique experience. From family-friendly offerings, to the arts, to vibrant nightlife, you can do and see it all. Let Ultimate Ventures Dallas be your guide….the possibilities are endless!
