Transcending Traditional Event Space: Mude Market

“Thinking outside the box” is a mantra all event planners practice and revere. Mude Market in Seville, Spain offers planners the opportunity to take this mantra to the next level… literally. Seville’s newest and most exciting event venue, is built using stockpiled shipping containers. That’s right.  A few 8,000-pound steel boxes previously used to ship goods around the world have been recycled into an event space adjacent to the Guadalquivir River in Seville’s cruise terminal pier, Muelle de las Delicias. This innovative venue is not only flexible and fresh, it’s a sustainable architectural feat as well. Mude Market is the answer for receptions, gala dinners and expositions that transcend traditional event space providing an “outside the box” solution.

Mude Market can host small and large gatherings. The flexible space features seven rooms totaling 3,200 square feet of indoor space and nearly 32,000 square feet of outdoor space.  The event space can comfortably accommodate 350 attendees indoors and up to 1,000 attendees outdoors. The utilitarian space features plenty of natural sunlight as well as LED lighting highlighting the building’s unique architectural footprint. Attendees can take advantage of the space’s proximity to the water and Seville’s pleasant climate with access to multiple balconies and patios overlooking the river. This is truly a unique venue offering year-round outdoor space availability.

Constructed of discarded cargo containers, Mude Market gives empty, unused shipping containers new life. You may not know that empty shipping containers pose a pollution problem. These containers are piled up in shipping yards all over the world. With sustainable building practices in mind, Mude Market designers recycled these boxes to create a one-of-a-kind event venue in Seville that is energizing the cruise terminal district.

The staff at Mude Market is uniquely positioned to assist planners. Drawing inspiration from its experience planning incentives and team building activities, the Mude Market team prides itself on administering professional, seamless events. Whether it be a dinner party, outdoor expo or product launch, Mude Market has got you covered!

The success of Mude Market is evident based on the popularity its events have garnered with locals and tourists alike. It is successfully breathing new life into an area of Seville previously not frequented. These festivals are blowing up Instagram, Twitter and Facebook creating a buzz among those “in the know.” The Callejeando Food Fest held September 29-October 1, was a huge success. Mude Market was host to the festival that featured food trucks, children’s activities, concerts and fun for all who attended this free event on the riverfront.
The Star Wars exposition, Myths of a Very Distant Galaxy, was a tremendous hit. Held at Mude Market this summer and recently wrapping in September, the expo featured collectibles and original pieces from the films.
Planning a lively and stimulating event in Seville is easy if you book Mude Market. A buzzworthy event is guaranteed!
