Historical Spain – Top 5 Picturesque Venues for MICE Events

The Spanish Empire was the first global empire. It was also one of the largest empires in world history.

How majestical would it be to hold an event in one of the many historical venues in Spain?  There is a plethora of amazing venues to choose from. I agreed to name just 5 so here are the top 5 Picturesque Venues for MICE Events:

The Alhambra

Panoramic view of famous Alhambra de Granada, Andalusia, Spain.

The Alhambra is one of Spain’s major tourist attractions, exhibiting the country’s most significant and well-known Islamic architecture, together with 16th-century and later Christian building and garden interventions. The Alhambra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Holding a Corporate event or meeting at the Alhambra is an experience of a lifetime!

Belmonte Castle

Belmonte Castle is a unique location in Spain, an ideal setting for MICE EVENTS in Cuenca. Built in 1456, this majestic construction reopened in 2010 after a great work of restoration aimed to preserve its history. The castle plan, star-shaped, is a characteristic detail you’ll find only here. A small example of what’s inside this imposing medieval construction.

The castle of Belmonte has an unbeatable setting for holding any type of event, both business and private.  It has original rooms and galleries from the 15th century decorated with Mudejar ceilings as well as all the comforts, security measures, and communication technology.

Pazo Vilaboa

Pazo Vilaboa is located 10 minutes from La Coruña by car. In the XIX century, Don Álvaro de Torres Taboada rebuilt the current Pazo Vilaboa from an old house.  Next to the back facade there is a garden and a courtyard to access. The house is surrounded by medieval walls. The garden has great trees, lots of fountains and amazing views.

You can celebrate company events, lunches, private dinners, product presentations, and conventions here. They have all the necessary equipment and technology.

Balneario de Mondariz

The Balneario de Mondariz has been, since its inauguration in 1873, the flagship of the thermal baths in Galicia, a seaside region par excellence. An establishment that for more than a century has been able to attract artists, politicians, intellectuals, and other special people … in an atmosphere of charm, tradition, tranquility, and luxury in a particular Belle Époque.

The Balneario de Mondariz has a large Congress and Convention Center equipped with facilities suitable for holding all kinds of events: meetings, banquets or congresses, including the Infanta Isabel auditorium, as well as various multipurpose rooms, private gardens, and a large number of outdoor spaces, providing a different and welcoming environment, ideal for any type of celebration.

Comassema Estate

The Comassema Estate is located in the Orient Valley, in the beautiful Sierra de Tramuntana on the island of Mallorca.  In 2011, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the category of Cultural Landscapes. The first historical data of this beautiful estate in Mallorca dates from the XIII century and its first owner was Nuño Sanz.

Comassema is the perfect spot for any type of company event. It is fully equipped to host events of up to 250 guests indoors and 400 guests outdoors. It has a big parking area, golf carts to move the guests around the venue, and two different kitchens.
