This is a question I ask myself every time I register to participate in a tradeshow. As a supplier, I wonder what my return on investment will be. However, if you’ve been working in the meeting industry for a while, you most likely heard about IMEX America, one of the largest Incentive Travel, meetings and events Conference in the world, and without a doubt wished you could go sometime. Let me help you make your decision easier.

Planners: What’s in it for you?

Hosted Buyer Program:

If you plan or commission large-scale events around the world and outside your home state, you may qualify to be a “hosted buyer”.  Many suppliers/partners offer a hosted buyers program, and you may have received your invitation already. If not, no worries follow this link to apply. When received, applications may take up to 10 days to process.

A different kind of learning:

If traditional seminars in a classroom style setting is not for you, no worries, you’ll have other ways to learn, like the “Play room” where you will be able to experience and play with tools and techniques design to make meetings more interactive – or my favorite one – “Campfires” where you’ll get the chance to interact with speakers in small group sessions.

No need to walk the tradeshow for hours wasting your time waiting in line. Set up appointments with partners you want to see through the exhibitor’s online appointment system. You’ll be able to connect and prepare your meeting ahead of the show so you can be more efficient.

Exhibitors: What’s in it for you?

Qualified Meetings:

The appointment schedule will allow your sales team to meet with qualify buyers that want to book meetings with you, making the process of calculating your ROI much easier.

Team IMEX Support:

Team IMEX are professionals that have years of experience behind them and understand the importance of your success. They provide personal support and will help you achieve your business goals before, during and after the show. They understand ROI is key.

IMEX America will be held in Las Vegas October 16-18, 2018 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
