When do you expect to resume scheduling/operating F2F events
(as of May 18, 2020)

56% of respondents anticipate they will resume F2F events before the end of the year 

20% of respondents anticipate they will resume F2F events before end of September 

  • The top answer for resuming F2F events is Q4.
  • Waiting to resume until sometime in 2021 is also at 38% for the current week.
  • Resuming F2F events before the end of 2020 is now at 56%.
  • Uncertainty remains at under 9% of planners not sure when their F2F events will resume.

In May 2020, Hyatt plans to introduce a GBAC STARTM accreditation through a performance-based cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program that will focus on establishing hotel environments that are sanitary, safe and healthy. The GBAC STARTMaccreditation will include detailed training at more than 900 Hyatt hotels worldwide, and Hyatt intends to complement this with regular internal and third-party auditing.
