Greater Palm Springs is literally an oasis set deep within Southern California’s Coachella Valley. Just like the music festival that rocks the desert each spring, Palm Springs is hip, lively and totally rocking; making it one of my fave meeting destinations! Whether hosting a secluded board retreat, a multi-day sales training or an incentive, this community of nine cities will not disappoint. The palm trees and bougainvillea alone are enough to keep me coming back. Add in world-class resorts, happening bar scenes, award-winning restaurants and nearly 300 days of warm sunshine, say no more! Your attendees will be begging you to book here again and again.
Palm Springs has all the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and Scottsdale but none of the traffic nor noise. Here, wellness and relaxation are top of mind. Take full advantage of the beautiful scenery and plan as many activities, breaks and meals outside as possible. Your attendees will thank you!
Consider a mid-morning yoga break with vistas of the San Jacinto mountains to center your group or move your afternoon session out of doors and brainstorm poolside. Host a networking reception under stars amid a palm grove or up the ante with hiking excursions in the Indian Canyons.
This is not just the quiet enclave of the Hollywood elite. There is something here for everyone and every group that will dazzle and delight. Whether you need a downtown property or a spa and golf resort, Palm Springs has it! Check out the newly opened Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel recently named to the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List in 2018 for a downtown destination that will please.
