The Ritz-Carlton proudly offers a unique program called Impact Experiences to provide guests and groups opportunities to contribute to the local community. The idea is to make both a social and environmental impact with activities that can and do make a difference.  Some Impact Experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman include:

Turtle-Walking (in season)
A short informational session is given before walking to the turtle nest areas.

Mangrove Restoration
Here you can plant your own mangrove and help regenerate a natural preserve that then will be the perfect environment for many reef creatures and marine birds.

Sir Turtle School Program
With this program, educational sessions are offered, and your group can assemble lunch boxes, school backpacks or emergency kits, and possibly even design children’s birthday cards.

You can also participate in an off-site activity. Contact the Ritz Carlton event staff for details on matching an Impact Experience to your group.  No matter the program, you will make a difference in the community and to local charities.  What a great activity to include in your meeting or event.

Additionally, the Cayman Islands and the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman work hard to conserve and reduce the environmental footprint using sustainable products and utilizing programs that reduce energy and water usage as well as a linen reuse program and using recyclable paper products and sustainable, local food.
